Press prize

Lawyers and journalists share certain ideals and aspirations, such as independence, willingness to denounce abuse and violation of rights, the right to information and protection of fundamental freedoms. The right to information, presumption of innocence and respect for a person must be reconciled with human rights at all times. For this reason and to encourage quality journalism on law, justice and court reporting, Advocaat.be awards a press prize every three years.
