Divorce irreparable disruption

If you want to separate from your spouse but the break-up is difficult and you are unable to agree on the divorce or all its consequences, you can ask for a divorce based on the irretrievable breakdown of the marriage. You can ask this alone to the court or together with your spouse. It is then the judge who decides whether the marriage is irretrievably disrupted and, if necessary, pronounces the divorce. Even then you have to go to court but it is not necessary to have already made mutual agreements about the assets, children, maintenance, etc.
