Official report
What is an official report?
An official report is a written record in which a person gives an account of facts and circumstances that that person establishes, along with the operations and personal details of those involved and witnesses.
The police draw up a police report when an offence has been committed, writing down the main facts.
At the end of the interrogation or investigation, you will be asked to sign the official report. Although this is not an obligation, be aware that what is written in such a report can be used against you later.
