What is a registry?
A registry usually consists of a chief clerk, one or more clerks and the registry staff. The registry takes care of all court administration, such as:
- Recording all communications related to a particular case.
- Accepting requests from people asking a judge for a ruling.
- Monitoring the conduct of hearings
- Preparing documents and giving copies
- Retaining documents
- Cooperating judge
